Skybound Story Mentorship
In the fall of 2025, I participated in a 6 week storyboarding mentorship at Skybound Animation with artists on the show Invincible. My fellow mentees and I were given the scripts for two scenes from Invincible season 1 and were tasked with producing our own versions. We took our boards from the thumbnail stage all the way to production-ready animatics.
In addition to receiving feedback from current story artists and directors working on the show, we also attended lectures about various storyboarding topics, including effects, staging, and boarding specifically in the style of action-heavy adult animation.

The Graysons return home after a funeral for the Guardians of the Globe. Mark is troubled and Debbie is upset at Nolan's reaction to his friend's deaths. Neither of them know that Nolan actually murdered the Guardians.

At Remy's half-birthday party, his parents realize that their gift to Remy was a disappointment. They enlist Cricket and Tilly's help to learn more about their son's interests.
True Cawing Board Sample
When Bill's family ditches him during a statue-admiring tour of the park, he befriends a flock of crows who share his passion for public sculptures. Bill sings a Disney princess inspired song about their newfound friendship.
Family Tree Board Sample
When a mysterious apple tree on the farm entices his family members one by one to stop and relax instead of hitting the road to beat traffic, Bill calls on Gramma's help to get everyone out of the tree and into the car.
